Rest In Peace, Laredo.
Laredo was adopted in February 2012. Since then he has participated in the River Festival Parade, giving rides at Victory in the Valley Kids & Family Day Camp, and generally helps us out whenever we put out the call for volunteers.
This picture of Aidan and Laredo was taken shortly before she was forced to put him down due to colic.
They spent the whole day together and he got lots of love and attention before he passed.
Laredo came to us in August 2011 as an owner relinquishment.
He came with Q Bee. His owner, unable to provide for him any longer, wanted to ensure his future with a good and caring permanent home.
Standing at 15.3 hands, he is a 28-year-old registered Tennessee Walking Horse and is dead broke.
Laredo could not be ridden when he arrived, due to some health issues, which we have solved.
He is now ready to go.
Laredo was adopted in February 2012! He's gone to a good home as a birthday give to Aidan.
