Rest In Peace, Goblin.
Goblin was well loved, well-trained and gentle as a lamb. He developed a kind of paralysis that prohibited him from swallowing food or drink. We humanely euthanized him.
Goblin is a 15.1hh grey (white) Arabian gelding born in 1995.
His home was a back yard that had access to a larger pasture.
Unfortunately most of his teeth were missing and he had lost a tremendous amount of weight.
He has very wise eyes and is super gentle. Goblin is awesome with babies too.
His owner loved him very very much but, due to declining health, failed to see his dire circumstances.
Goblin has not been ridden in years and will be a retired friend who is no longer to be ridden. He would be a great companion horse.
He lived alone when we brought him to the rescue but has since learned to put up with a pen full of female ponies.
He is putting weight on nicely. He eats his senior grain better if it is slightly wet.
He needs to be penned up when he eats so others don't steal his food.
