Jethro is a 15.1hh OTTB (off track thoroughbred) who came to us on July 4, 2015 as a Sedgwick County seizure.

He was found wandering around Sedgwick county.

When Jethro came to us in July of 2015, he was quite torn up. He had marks, scars, cuts, scrapes and bites all over his body; his right hind leg was swollen from a puncture wound on his ankle.

His teeth needed floating and were very crooked, as if he had been kicked in the mouth.

Due to his mild disposition, Jethro did not do well with the main herd of horses here at the rescue. We put him under Dolly's charge where he is doing very well.
