Starsky arrived July 2018 from a PMU rescue.
PMU stands for Pregnant Mare Urine. The urine is harvested while mares are pregnant for use in the production of the drug "Premarine."
Starsky arrived with his friend Hutch.
Unfortunately, Hutch passed away in early April due to a neurological disorder.
His halter training is coming along nicely. We will continue to work on sacking him out.
Currently (April 2019) he stands 12hh and is considered a yearling. He is ready for adoption to his forever home! He would make a spectacular 4H project horse!!!
If you would like to help us care for this horse and others like it, find out how you can sponsor us monthly.
