Hershey Kisses :: Adopted!

November 2019

Hershey Kisses is a small statured quarter horse gelding who came to us as part of a law-enforcement seizure for neglect. You can see in this picture how defeated he feels. He came to us with King and Angel.

December 2019

In just one month at the rescue, you can see the HOPE in Hershey Kisses' face. He is happy and growing stronger every day.

November 2019

As you can see, Hershey was underweight when he came into the rescue. He also was very stiff on the front end. After a vet check, it was determined physical therapy should be implemented daily to increase his strength and range of motion.

December 2019

Again, in just one month, you can see the weight he has put on. He is also now able to move about his paddock easily. The first week he was here, he could barely move from the water tank to his bale of hay, let alone the shelter. We were really concerned with his health and wellbeing. With daily hands on training and therapy, he is really turning his health around.
